# Player themes

> Five conversion themes. Each one is a different layout, not a different colour.

A theme sets the whole look of the player: the controls, the pause screen, the end
screen, the exit-intent card. Applying one rewrites all of them in a single click.

Six of the themes are chrome: **Default**, **Solid**, **Minimal**, **Gradient**,
**Glass** and **Split Pills**. They recolour the player and nothing more.

The other five are **conversion themes**. Each is a structurally different layout with its
own copy voice, built for a different kind of offer.

## The conversion themes

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Impact">
    **A pinned alert bar with a red edge stripe and a sharp rectangular button.**

    Direct-response urgency. The pause screen reads like an interruption: *"Do not stop
    now"*. Use it for hard offers, deadlines and scarcity.

    Accent `#dc2626`.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Authority">
    **A centred, left-aligned document card with a vertical accent rule and an eyebrow.**

    Calm and credible. The pause screen reads *"Paused at an important part"*. Use it for
    consultative offers, high ticket, and anything where trust does the selling.

    Accent `#2563eb`.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Dark Luxe">
    **A symmetric card with gold hairline rules, fully centred.**

    Premium. The pause screen reads *"Your presentation is paused"*. Use it when the price
    is the point.

    Accent `#eab308`.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Momentum">
    **A gradient panel with a coral-to-amber top stripe and a pill button.**

    Energetic and encouraging. The pause screen reads *"You are closer than you think"*.
    Use it for courses, challenges and anything with a finish line.

    Accent `#f15a3a`.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Proof">
    **A review card with a star kicker, a quote and an attribution line.**

    Social proof. The pause screen is a testimonial from someone who *"almost stopped
    watching"*. Use it when other people's results are your strongest argument.

    Accent `#16a34a`.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Apply a theme

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Style tab">
    Go to your video, click **Customize**, then the **Style** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a theme">
    Click a theme swatch. A confirmation banner appears.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply">
    Click **Apply**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Applying a theme **overwrites** your Autoplay, Paused, Continue Watching, End Screen and
  Exit Intent screens with that theme's versions. Any custom layout you built on those
  screens is replaced. Pick your theme before you design them, not after.
</Warning>

## After you apply

A theme is a starting point, not a cage. Everything it set is still editable:

* Colours, controls and control visibility on the **Style** tab.
* The individual screens on their own tabs: **Autoplay**, **Pause Menu**, **Continue
  Watching**, **End Screen**, **Exit Intent**.

<Tip>
  Themes are worth split testing. They change layout and copy, not only colour, so the
  difference in conversion is often real. See [Split tests](/split-tests/overview).
