The viewer reaches for the back button, or their mouse drifts up to the tab bar. That is the last moment you have. Exit intent puts an overlay in front of them right then: a discount, a reminder of the offer, a “watch later” opt-in. Video → Customize → Exit Intent.

Triggers

Pick one or more. The overlay shows the first time any of them fires.
The pointer moves up out of the page, toward the browser chrome. The classic desktop exit signal. Stored as pointer-leave-top.
The viewer presses back. TrackPlay catches it and shows the overlay instead of letting the page unload. Stored as back-button.
The viewer switches to another tab or minimises the window. Works on mobile, where there is no mouse to leave the page. Stored as tab-blur.

Cooldown

Once the overlay has shown, it stays quiet for a set number of minutes so you never nag the same viewer twice in one session. The default is 10 minutes.

Design

The overlay uses the same drag-and-drop canvas as your pause and end screens: a headline, body copy, a button, an image, a background. You design a landscape version and a portrait version, and the player picks the right one for the viewer’s orientation.
A theme sets an exit-intent card for you. Applying one overwrites this screen. Pick your theme first, then edit the copy.

React to it in your own code

When the overlay shows, the player fires a JavaScript event so your page can do more than the overlay itself: reveal a coupon field, swap the headline, log it to your own analytics.
See the full payload in the events reference.
Exit intent is on for every plan. There is nothing to turn on at the account level. Enable it per video on the Exit Intent tab.
